Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt & U.S. ONE & the SAME (Guest, John Guandolo)

The Obama Administration has wrongly supported the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda against the regimes in Libya and Syria, and continues to support and defend the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, contends counter-terrorism expert and former FBI agent John Guandolo, host of www.UnderstandingtheThreat.com.

The Muslim Brotherhood killing non-Muslims, burning churches, and overthrowing governments across the globe, with the support of the Obama Administration, is the same Muslim Brotherhood which has a significant infrastructure here in the United States, and whose leaders are key advisors in nearly every organization and agency inside the U.S. national security apparatus.

Obama’s financial, military, and vocal support for these jihadis reflects a dangerous naiveté on his part reminiscent of Jimmy Carter’s endorsement of the Ayatollah Khomeini and FDR’s backing of Stalin. This has resulted in the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates, including Hamas (DBA CAIR – Council of American-Islamic Relations), gaining legitimacy among American elites by selling themselves as the liaisons between the U.S. government and the American Islamic community.

Obama supported Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohammad Morsi early on. According to the New York Times: Mr. Obama told aides he was impressed with the Egyptian leader’s pragmatic confidence. He sensed an engineer’s precision with surprisingly little ideology. Obama continuously shipped weaponry and pledged billions in American taxpayer money to Morsi’s jihadi regime.

Besides Hamas (DBA CAIR), other Muslim Brotherhood fronts that have raised their profile in the Obama administration and the liberal media include the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).

The collapse of the Morsi regime in Egypt, and the subsequent violence instigated by the Muslim Brotherhood, should be viewed as an educational moment regarding the threat that the Muslim Brotherhood poses not only to the Middle East, but also to America.  It’s the same organization and in many cases, some of the same leaders.

John Guandolo issues a wakeup call and warning to the American people, “The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Libya and Syria is the same Muslim Brotherhood operating by stealth here in the US.”
