Officials Reveal America’s National Security is “Controlled” by the Jihadists

Two former U.S. government officials made explosive revelations on national radio this past Friday including the charge the U.S. government is a “tool” for the jihadi movement here, and that the driving force behind America’s domestic counter-terrorism strategies and our foreign policy is the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).

President Obama with Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas leader (Islamic Society of North America) Imam Mohamed Magid of the ADAMS Center in Sterling, Virginia

The exchange took place on the Sean Hannity radio program between the host, Philip Haney (former DHS law enforcement officer with Customs and Border Protection) and Richard Higgins (a former leader inside the Department of Defense who managed programs at the Combating Terrorism and Technical Support Office (CTTSO) and Irregular Warfare Section). Clinton’s hypocrisy erupts with doubletalk about guns, Orlando

Democrat Hillary Clinton went after guns yesterday in Ohio, insisting that people on no-fly lists should not be allowed to buy guns.

After opening her remarks Monday in Cleveland by asserting that “today is not a day for politics,” Hillary Rodham Clinton went full-on politics, demanding more gun control and in the process possibly misrepresenting how the terrorist killer in Orlando obtained his firearms.

In response, the Second Amendment Foundation ripped Clinton and President Barack Obama for exploiting the attack to press for more restrictions on firearms. SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb said, “Americans should be appalled that both President Obama and Clinton chose to attack the Second Amendment rights of legitimate gun owners instead of radical Islamist terrorists.”

“If the FBI is watching you for suspected terrorist links,” Clinton declared during a campaign visit, “you shouldn’t be able to just go buy a gun with no questions asked. And you shouldn’t be able to exploit loopholes and evade criminal background checks by buying online or at a gun show.” Continue Reading →

Losing the War at the Local Level

Losing the War at the Local Level

The war in which we are engaged, and not engaged, against the jihadis here in the United States is a very different kind of war than most Americans are accustomed.  In this war, battles are lost at local town councils, in the media and school classrooms, and, sometimes, in state legislatures.

So it is with this week’s story out of Florida regarding Andy’s Law, named after Private Andy Long who was killed by a jihadi named Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad at an Army Recruiting office in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2009.

In this undated photo provided by the U.S. Army in Little Rock, Ark., Tuesday, June 2, 2009, Pvt. William Long, 23, of Conway, Ark., is shown Friday, May 15, 2009. France Strikes ISIS Targets in Syria But Not In Paris

After Friday night’s attack in Paris by Muslim jihadis, French military airstrikes hit ISIS targets in Syria, yet left the jihadi network inside of France  intact.

For approximately 40 minutes on Friday night, beginning at 9:20 PM local time in Paris, eight (8) Muslim jihadis conducted numerous assaults across the city.  Explosions at the Stadium of France detonated during a soccer game; and Gunmen fired on two restaurants at Le Petit Cambodge, a bar at Le Bonne Biere, a restaurant at Le Belle Equipe, and at a concert hall at Bataclan.

129 people were killed, and 352 were wounded.  Seven of the eight jihadis were killed, and one of them, Abdeslam Salah, is still at large.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks.

France’s response was to strike ISIS targets outside of its own borders instead of destroying the massive and imminent Islamic threat inside of France.

There are at least forty-seven (47) mosques within a ten (10) mile radius of downtown Paris, which teach the jihad is an obligation for all Muslims until Sharia is the law of the land and the global Islamic State (Caliphate) is established.

The Union of Islamic Organizations in France (UIOF) has significant influence in France, and it’s voice is heard by French leaders.  The UIOF is a Muslim Brotherhood organizations whose stated objective is to destroy all un-Islamic governments and replace them with Islamic rule.

France, like many European nations, is being inundated with Muslims from numerous hostile countries (“refugees”) who openly state they have no loyalty to France nor it’s laws, and who support the implementation of Sharia and the establishment of the Caliphate.

French President Francois Hollande called the attacks in Paris “an act of war,” yet he has not called the slow invasion of his country by Muslims who seek to destroy France by all means possible an “act of war.”

The airstrikes by the French military reportedly hit a command post, a jihadi recruiting center, a munition depot, and a jihadi training camp in Syria.  The French military has not destroyed any such Islamic targets in France – yet those targets exist.

The German Interior Minister, Thomas de Maiziere, said “But I make the urgent plea, as interior minister and as a responsible politician of this country, that there shouldn’t be any hasty links made to the refugee debate.”  Germany’s leader Angela Merkel said she was “deeply shocked” by the attacks in Paris.

One has to ask what level of delusion these leaders live under.  The global Islamic Movement has made very clear the reason for doing what it is doing (fighting jihad to establish a caliphate under Sharia), and the authority with which they do it (Islamic Doctrine).  What exactly is shocking about what happened in Paris when viewed through the lens of Sharia?  Nothing.

A small glimmer of light may be seen in recent comments by Bernard Cazeneuve, the French Interior Minister, who has just called for the dissolution of “mosques where hate is preached” in France.

For anyone paying attention, this is still just the tip of the iceberg plowing over Europe.  The Europeans are giving the jihadis all the rope they (jihadis) need with which to hang them (Europeans).

Attacks in Paris, if it was on American soil, would somebody already be blaming “lax gun laws?”

New York Times reported that the Islamic State claimed responsibility for last night’s bloody string of attacks in Paris, and further that the terrorists called them “the first of the storm,” but had this outrage happened on American soil would somebody already be blaming “lax gun laws?”

Presidential candidate Donald Trump, appearing today in Beaumont, Texas, had a much different perspective. According to WGHP, Trump told his audience, “When you look at Paris — you know the toughest gun laws in the world, Paris — nobody had guns but the bad guys. Nobody had guns. Nobody.”

“You can say what you want,” Trump is quoted by the Fox affiliate, “but if they had guns, if our people had guns, if they were allowed to carry, it would’ve been a much, much different situation.” The crowd, according to the report, “erupted into raucous applause.”

The Washington Examiner reported last night that Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, also running for president, suggested that plans to bring Syrian refugees to this country should be shelved. Fox News reported this morning that fingerprints have identified one of the dead terrorists as an extremist French national.

Saturday afternoon, Fox News reported that at least one of the victims was a visiting American student from California. She was identified as Nohemi Gonzalez, 23.

In the wake of the attack, Politifact reached back five months to a statement by President Barack Obama, reacting to the Charleston church shooting, observed, “This type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency.” Except that it obviously does.

French authorities are focusing on the individuals responsible, but here in the United States, it has become customary and almost reflexive to blame so-called “lax gun laws” and the Second Amendment — and organizations that defend the right to keep and bear arms — to promote a political agenda of citizen disarmament. There is no Second Amendment in France.

Now there is discussion about the potential for such an attack in the United States. There is a sense of heightened security, but how does that translate to the ground level? Paris demonstrated that terror attacks go after soft targets, and the United States is filled with them: sports stadiums, concert halls, shopping malls, schools, pick a venue, especially buildings and facilities posted as “gun free zones.”

And with that, Trump’s remarks in Beaumont strike a chord with many American citizens. More than 12.5 million are estimated to have carry licenses and permits. To paraphrase Trump, say what you will, but at times of uncertainty, the ability to defend one’s self and family can be reassuring.

Is there danger of such a terrorist attack in the United States? Yesterday, hours before the Paris attack, Barack Obama was telling reporters that ISIS had been contained. Last night, following the attack, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said there are no “specific or credible threats” of an attack here, according to Newsmax.

Paris attack, threats against U.S. sharpen focus on gun laws, rights

Last Friday’s terrorist attack in Paris is putting focus on strict gun laws, according to a report by O’Dwyer’s, a public relations and marketing news agency, this morning, and that follows on yesterday’s report in The New American that questioned whether strict French gun control laws contributed to the slaughter by disarming people.

“Of course,” the New American story said, “common sense should inform us that it is not guns in the hands of the law-abiding, but civilian disarmament, that makes civilians more vulnerable to attack by armed terrorists — including the terrorists who were able to kill or wound nearly 70 people per terrorist on Friday night without interruption in Paris, where Frenchmen are denied the right to keep and bear arms.”

What happened in Paris has put a sharp perspective on the Second Amendment, and how armed citizens at least have the potential of fighting back. As the New American story put it, “Much handwringing and declarations of vengeance emanated from French politicians who appeared to have been caught by surprise. After all, as recently as 2012 those very same politicians enacted even more draconian gun laws in order, they said, to keep this from happening again.”

——————————–

UPDATE: A new Rasmussen Report Monday morning revealed that a majority of likely U.S. voters are “less confident in their safety here at home than they have ever been,” and that poll was taken during the two days prior to last Friday’s Paris attack.

Rasmussen took the survey last Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The polling agency found that just 33 percent of likely U.S. voters believe this country is safer than it was before the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attack. Fifty-three percent believe the nation is less safe, Rasmussen said.

——————————–

That’s about the same thing one could say about American gun prohibitionists. The laws they have pushed ostensibly to prevent Chicago-type street crime and mass shootings haven’t worked. And in the aftermath of each new tragedy, these anti-self-defense advocates clamor for even tougher gun laws, putting honest citizens at even a greater disadvantage to criminals, kooks and now, terrorists.

Reuters this morning reported that the Islamic State has threatened to attack countries participating in air strikes against their strongholds in Syria will face retribution. Washington, D.C. was specifically mentioned, the report said.

The District of Columbia still has very restrictive gun laws, despite court victories by the Second Amendment Foundation that have pushed the city to allow handguns in homes for personal protection, and the creation of a carry permit system. But now with O’Dwyer and New American raising the question about gun laws, it isn’t just the so-called “gun lobby” pointing to what now appears to be the dismal failure of gun control in Europe, which domestic anti-gunners wish America would emulate.

Even The Guardian was talking about this situation yesterday, and that’s no mouth organ for American gun rights groups. What happened in Paris has been like a bucket of ice water in the faces of Europeans who thought restrictive gun policies would prevent mass attacks.

Concerns are now being voiced by governors in at least three states, according to this morning’s Washington Post, regarding Syrian refugees. Fox News added that Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is also raising concerns about refugees in his state.

The habit of America spreading the welcome mat may be facing serious reconsideration with the threat of terrorism on the level of what happened in Paris. The Friday attack may also add momentum to what is already a strong surge of U.S. citizens applying for, or renewing, their carry licenses and permits, and exercising their right to keep and bear arms.
