Anti-Gunners Fearful Of Gorsuch On Gun Rights

By Dave Workman

Democrat Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has repeatedly let the proverbial cat out of the bag by mentioning that when Judge Neil Gorsuch faces confirmation hearings Monday, the Supreme Court nominee will be quizzed “on his positions on abortion rights and gun control.” Continue Reading →

Muslim Brotherhood (NAIT) Directly Confronts President of the United States

In response to President Trump’s second Executive Order designed to keep individuals from hostile nations from entering the United States, the Attorney General of Hawaii announced he will file suit against the Trump administration.  The plaintiff listed in Hawaii’s lawsuit is Dr. Ismail Elshikh, the Imam of the Muslim Association of Hawaii.

The Muslim Association of Hawaii is a Muslim Brotherhood organization, which means the Muslim Brotherhood is directly confronting the President of the United States and challenging his authority.

The address of the Muslim Association of Hawaii is 1935 Aleo Place, Honolulu, Hawaii.  The property records for Honolulu reveal this property is owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) – the bank for the Muslim Brotherhood in North America.  You can search the address HERE for yourself.

NAIT was created in 1973 by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim Students Association per their own website. Continue Reading →

Is CNN Guilty of Material Support of Terrorism?

Could a reporter and/or media organization which intentionally provides a terrorist or terrorist organization air time to promote the terrorist’s agenda be charged as in violation of Title 18 of U.S. Code, Section 2339A, Material Support to Terrorists?
Mainstream media attacking those who speak truth about the threat of Islam in the United States is not new, nor is the media’s support for the terrorist group Hamas doing business as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). However, when the media runs lengthy propaganda pieces for Hamas, regurgitating their talking points, while at the same time attacking officials who are sworn to defend U.S. citizens, do these actions constitute providing our enemies with material support in their war against the United States?

Last week CNN ran stories about Oklahoma State Representative John Bennett related to the “Muslim Day” at the Oklahoma State House. Why, you might ask, was there a “Muslim Day” at the Oklahoma State House? Because Hamas (dba CAIR) hosted one and no one stopped them.
In the CNN story, CNN correspondent Sara Ganim supports and defends Oklahoma’s Hamas leader Adam Soltani who slanders and defames state legislator John Bennett, and Ganim also defended Hamas doing business as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Will Trump Keep His Promise on Amnesty?

(Raleigh, NC) Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is issuing an ultimatum to President Donald Trump to honor his campaign promise to end his and Obama’s DACA Amnesty orders or the national organization will rescind its standing endorsement for Trump originally issued on February 29, 2016.

If Trump does not end his DACA Amnesty for illegals without replacement by Tax Day (April 17), 2017, the loss of ALIPAC’s support and endorsement will signal the immigration enforcement movement, Tea Party movement, and American public that Trump can’t be trusted on the powerful campaign issue that made his victory over Bush and Clinton possible.

ALIPAC is also launching a national outreach campaign to locate, organize, and mobilize American activists who are willing to stand up and hold Trump accountable for his campaign promises on immigration law enforcement while fighting legislative amnesty in Congress at the same time. UTT Throwback Thursday: Attacks on UTT Intensify,

But Have Less Effect

In the summer of 2014, UTT scheduled a one-day training program for law enforcement in the Phoenix, Arizona area hosted by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (MCAO).  The program was designed to teach police officers and investigators about the Islamic Movement in the United States and Arizona, and provide them with tools to help them identify and investigate the threat.

The attacks against UTT and the MCAO were immediate.

On August 14th the Muslim Advocates along with 75 other organizations sent a letter to President Obama’s Counterterrorism Advisor Lisa Monaco which called UTT’s training “bigoted” and asked the administration to re-train all law enforcement officers who have been through such training.

By September 10th, the ACLU and several Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas organizations called for the training to be cancelled, saying the speakers (UTT President John Guandolo, Former CIA Case Officer Clare Lopez, and Former Department of Defense Inspector General Joseph Schmitz) were “known for inaccurate, dangerous statements about the Muslim community.” Continue Reading →

Obama’s Unintended Legacy: A Better Armed America

Now is the wrong time for gun owners to slip back into the shadows. (Dave Workman)

New data from the FBI’s National Instant Check System (NICS) confirms what many in the Second Amendment community joked about for the past eight years: Barack Obama was the nation’s best gun salesman, and coming in a close second is Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But just because their threat to the Second Amendment has been diminished does not mean gun owners can slip back into lethargy. To the contrary, with Republicans controlling Capitol Hill and a Republican president, this may be the most opportune moment in decades for gun rights activists to reform the nations’ gun laws.

The legislative fight is well underway. National concealed carry reciprocity could become a reality. New Hampshire just adopted “Constitutional Carry” with the need for a carry license. A National Hearing Protection Act could become law, thus removing bureaucratic red tape from the ownership of sound suppressors (silencers). Continue Reading →

The Washington Post’s new slogan “Democracy Dies in Darkness” is apt given all the pressures now reshaping journalism (some from the Oval Office), but then, when you consider how the Post treats a few highly polarizing issues, their new slogan at times can feel insincere.

If there are two sides to every story, then, when it comes to the Second Amendment at least, the Post has only been telling one of them.

There are a lot of reasons for this, but one is they don’t have even one politically incorrect, gun-owning nonconformist like Dave Workman in their newsroom. They once had Stephen Hunter on staff, but he is a rare thing indeed.

In the 1940’s, Central Casting would have called Workman an “atmosphere” character for any newspaper newsroom scene. Today they wouldn’t even let his mustache in the door.

Workman is the type who only trips into a lyrical line out of sheer bluntness. He is after facts, not prose that paints a pretty picture or a witty line that would impress Maureen Dowd. After President Donald Trump’s speech before Congress, Workman wrote that a few Democrat’s “gave [Trump] a ‘thumbs down’ like privileged Romans motioned for the death of a gladiator at the Colosseum.” With Workman, even if you disagree with his conclusions, you always get the feeling he is trying to boil out the perfidy. Unfit for Duty

The new National Security Advisor – Lieutenant General Herbert Raymond McMaster – and the Counter-Terrorism advisor to the President of the United States – Sebastian Gorka – both unequivocally state the “terrorist” threat America faces has nothing to do with “true” Islam.

Both men are catastrophically wrong and, therefore, are leading America down a disastrous road towards defeat.

The New York TimesGuardian, and CNN all report Lt General McMaster told members of the National Security Council Thursday he felt “radical Islamic terrorism” was an unhelpful way to describe terrorism because becoming a terrorist is actually “un-Islamic” in the first place.

In a talk he gave at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in May 2016, LtGen McMaster said, “There is a cycle going on where groups like ISIL, who use this irreligious ideology, you know, this perverted interpretation of religion to justify violence, they depend on ignorance and the ability to recruit vulnerable segments of populations to foment hatred, then use that hatred to justify violence against innocents.”

This is incoherent and factually wrong.  LtGen McMaster wrote a book entitled “Dereliction of Duty.”  He may want to look in the mirror to see if he is doing the same thing in this war he accused President Johnson of doing in Vietnam. Continue Reading →

Washington’s Liberal AG’s Anti-gun Agenda Takes Two Embarrassing Hits
By Dave Workman

Washington AG Bob Ferguson (right) with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. (Source: YouTube, CNN)
Washington State’s liberal anti-gun Attorney General Bob Ferguson may basking in the media sunshine for beating the Trump administration in court on immigration, but he apparently can’t push his gun control agenda through the state House of Representatives, which is controlled by his fellow Democrats.
By no small surprise, Puget Sound media has overlooked the fact that Ferguson’s effort to ban so-called “assault weapons” and his backup measure to license and strictly regulate them both died in committee. On Thursday morning, KVI talk hosts John Carlson and Kirby Wilbur discussed this debacle, along with the failure of another Ferguson-backed bill, one that would have abolished the death penalty.
Instead, the spin on Ferguson is only positive for his challenge of the Trump administration’s immigration order, which has now been revised. Seattle media may be wearing blinders.
Ferguson made a rather big deal of his gun ban proposal last fall, which many believe was the launch of his 2020 gubernatorial bid; an effort to cement his liberal credentials with the increasingly far-left Democrat voting base in Seattle and metropolitan King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. But Democrats in the Legislature, who have to run next year, appeared to be in no mood to push a politically toxic measure certain to bring every gun owner to the mid-term polls. Once away from the I-5 corridor, the Evergreen State is still purple or bright red in many counties, especially east of the Cascades. It would be a disaster for rural Democrats to pass a restrictive licensing bill to say nothing of an all-out ban. Continue Reading →

Federal Appeals Court Upholds Maryland Semi-Auto Ban

By Dave Workman

The 4th U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday that so-called “assault weapons” are not protected by the Second Amendment. (Dave Workman)

An en-banc panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld a ban on so-called “assault weapons” in Maryland, with a  10-4 majority opinion stating that such firearms are not protected by the Second Amendment, a position that gun rights advocates consider “absurd.”

Judge Robert King, a Bill Clinton appointee, wrote in the majority opinion, “Put simply, we have no power to extend Second Amendment protections to weapons of war,” according to Fox News.

But dissenting Judge William Traxler, a George H.W. Bush appointee, countered that the majority “has gone to greater lengths than any other court to eviscerate the constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms,” Fox News reported. Continue Reading →
