Los Angeles City Council Limits Ammunition For Self Defense
Tuesday, Los Angeles City Council members decided to increase gun restrictions by banning the amount of ammunition citizens can legally own and use for self defense. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti praised the decision, which passed unanimously with a 12-0 vote, with three council members absent.
The new ban prohibits the use of firearm magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.
Alan Gottlieb, founder and Executive Vice President of the Second Amendment Foundation, said, “Los Angeles will lose this battle in court.” The National Rifle Association voiced its intent to sue Los Angeles over its new ban claiming that it violates the Second Amendment. Continue Reading →
