Rogue IRS in contempt of Congress
“Internal Revenue Service Commissioner John Koskinen is in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over e-mails in a timely manner, emails requested by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee; comments,” Bob McNeil, Texas tax expert and American Citizen Party 2016 Presidential candidate.
Congress is asking for information regarding the IRS handling of applications for tax-exempt status by groups deemed as enemies of the Obama Administration, groups who applied with words like “tea party” or “elections” in their applications. Previously, former Exempt Organizations Director Lois Lerner pled the fifth twice before the congressional committee. Lerner, who is on leave with full pay and benefits, has since refused to testify on two occasions. Confronted with a hostile witness, Congress is asking for Lerner’s emails. Read more
Should Soldiers Carry Concealed Weapons on Military Bases?
After the shooting at the Fort Hood base in Texas carried out by Army Maj. Nidal Hassan in 2009 and the shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, Congress debated a bill that would have allowed military personnel to carry concealed weapons. Congress rejected this common sense bill. Alan Gottlieb Founder Second Amendment Foundation asserts the obvious, “That had this law been passed, most likely lives would have been saved at Fort Hood this Wednesday.”
Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX), speaking on Fox News’s “The Kelly File” said, “I personally think, if you’re trained for combat, you ought to be able to carry a weapon,” The shooting left four dead and more than a dozen injured at the Texas military base. Read more
Will Obama Bring America to Her Knees?
Texas executive and American Citizen Party 2016 Presidential candidate Bob McNeil fears that Obama might get close to wrecking the country in his break-neck attempt to “fundamentally transform” America.
With unlawful executive orders and obfuscations, he is moving toward such a transformation. His agenda has become more blatant since his re-election, as for the next three years he will be virtually free to act.
What is that agenda? Simply put, Obama seeks to bring the American economy to its knees, while weakening America in the world, thus causing domestic and international instability. His ultimate goal is to end American dominance and exceptionalism, thus contributing toward the age-old liberal dream of effecting a “Convergence” between the United States and the rest of the world.
In order to accomplish this, America has to be cut down to size, and the American people must be made to forget about self-government. Obama also must put in place a means by which Democrats will retain power. This seems to be the only explanation for his ruinous policies.

County Sheriffs re-assert Constitutional prerogative on Gun Control
New York Times reporter Jack Healy, offers examples of County Sheriff’s across the country not enforcing various gun laws passed by states.
Weld County Colorado Sheriff John Cooke, for example, is refusing to enforce a package of state gun control laws on the grounds that they are too vague and violate Second Amendment rights. Other Colorado Sheriffs are referring to enforcement of recent state gun initiatives as “a very low priority.” In Colorado, 62 elected sheriffs have signed on to a federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the statutes.
In New York State, where Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo signed one of the toughest gun law package in the nation last January, two sheriffs have said publicly they would not enforce the laws. Cuomo responded by stating that the Sheriffs were setting “a dangerous and frightening precedent.”
In Liberty County, Fla., a jury in October acquitted a Sheriff who was suspended for releasing a man arrested for carrying a concealed firearm. After his re-instatement, the Sheriff said he was protecting Second Amendment rights.
In California, a delegation of sheriffs met with Gov. Jerry Brown asking him to veto gun bills passed by the Legislature including measures banning semiautomatic rifles with detachable magazines and lead ammunition for hunting. Brown signed the ammunition bill but vetoed the outlawing of rifles. Read more
Because We Are at War
Counter-terrorism expert and former FBI agent John Guandolo (author of Raising a Jihadi Generation) states, “Twelve years after the Jihadist attack on America on September 11, 2001, American leaders and the American people remain woefully ignorant regarding the threat posed by the Global Islamic Movement.”
Indeed, a study of the Islamic threat remains a forbidden topic in policymaking and military circles. Our leaders and planners refuse to come to grips with the overwhelming evidence indicating that the 9/11 hijackers did not distort Islamic sharia law that day but rather they executed it. The hijackers did not twist Islamic law that day but rather they fulfilled it.
In 2005, the leader of Al Qaeda, Ayman al Zawahiri said:
I say to you that we are in a battle, and that more than half of this battle is taking place in the battlefield of the media. We are in a media battle in a race for the hearts and minds of our Ummah (global Muslim community).
The Bush White House established the culture of denial in official circles with the 2008 publication of a lexicon of enemy threat doctrine that omitted the words Islam and jihad. President Obama has ramped up this policy of denial.
In 2012, five Republican Members of Congress laid out the evidence of a Muslim Brotherhood network in America and asked the Inspector Generals of key agencies to investigate. The investigation was stymied by, among others, Republican Congressmen John McCain, John Boehner, Marco Rubio and Eric Cantor.
How can it be that leaders of American Islamic organizations that are connected to the Muslim Brotherhood advise Democratic and Republican organizations and the FBI, CIA, and DHS? Read more
Is Connecticut Gun-Grab Comparable to Weimar German Gun-Grab?
Alan Gottlieb, Chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and Founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, calls the ongoing gun confiscation program in Connecticut analogous to the gun grab that occurred in Weimar Germany in the 1920′s.
In 1919, after Germany was defeated in World War I, the government passed Regulations on Weapons Ownership, which declared that all firearms, as well as all kinds of firearms ammunition, are to be surrendered immediately. Anyone found with a firearm in Germany was subject to five years imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 marks. While the law was slightly relaxed in 1928, the German people had been successfully disarmed by then.
While the law was slightly relaxed in 1928, the German people had already been successfully disarmed. In the 1930’s, the Nazi government set up a national police, the infamous Gestapo, which held a virtual monopoly on the ownership of firearms and ammunition. The Gestapo had little to fear when they approached a citizen whom they deemed an enemy of the State. Read more
On Wednesday, March 5th, Virginia House Joint Resolution 484 was passed which commends Hamas’ Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia. Without becoming entirely sarcastic, the question has to be asked, “Is there a functioning brain cell at the State House in Richmond? Has the ability to reasonably process factual information completely evaporated from numerous elected officials in the state of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson?” states, John Guandolo, former FBI agent and author of Raising a Jihadi Generation: Understanding the Muslim Brotherhood Movement in America
Texas executive and 2016 American Citizen Party Presidential candidate Bob McNeil heartily endorses the “Convention of States” project as passed by the Georgia legislature. The project would result in a constitutional convention if two thirds of the states approve. The purpose of the convention would be to ratify a series of Amendments to the US Constitution.
Bob McNeil states, “It is self-evident to a growing number of Americans that the out-of-control Federal government in Washington, D.C. represents a clear and present danger to their liberties. It is also self-evident that the U.S. Constitution provides the only peaceful solution, demonstrating the forward-looking vision of the Founding Fathers when they created our country more than 235 years ago. One such solution is in Article V, which gives the State legislatures the power to propose amendments to the Constitution. I stand firmly behind the efforts of the ‘Convention of States’ project, recently initiated in the state of Georgia.”
Bob McNeil recognizes the serious risks posed by such a convention, as once such a convention is convened, it is entirely possible that the Constitution could be scrapped by unpatriotic delegates. McNeil recalls, that the first Constitutional Convention 1788-1789 scrapped the Articles of Confederation, which were replaced by an entirely new system. America was blessed in those formative years with delegates who were patriotic and wise. Read more
Makings of a Worldwide Surveillance State?
“Former NSA employee, Edward Snowden, exposed the tip of the iceberg in terms of what appears to be a worldwide spying apparatus that is employing the most advanced technologies,” notes Texas executive and 2016 American Citizen Party presidential nominee, Bob McNeil.
We now know that the NSA, which has indiscriminate access to the phone conversations and computers of millions of Americans, coordinates with the British spy agency GCHQ that developed the “Optic Nerve” program. The British program involved the arbitrary gathering of millions of Yahoo webcam chats with the data transferred to a massive central database.
Meanwhile the “Prism” program launched by the NSA in 2007, simultaneously with a British GCHQ counterpart, works with computer and electronics companies to gather personal data on users of products. The latest is a component of the new Microsoft’s Xbox, which allows for video surveillance in the homes of users. Read more
Gun-rights Champion Calls Out the NFL
Alan Gottlieb, Chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and founder of the Second Amendment Foundation is calling out the National Football League for implementing a stadium policy that bans off-duty police officers from carrying guns into games. The regulation is scheduled to go in effect at all stadiums except those located in the State of Texas.
Gottlieb says that the NFL, by removing the protection provided by the presence of plain-clothes off-duty officers licensed and trained in the proper use of firearms from attending games with their arms, have put their stadium attendees at risk. The presence of trained gun owners in public venues has proven repeatedly to be a deterrent to violent crime. Read more
